ABSTRACT

Se realizó una investigación con enfoque cualitativo, para valorar la satisfacción de los actores con el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje en la formación del Médico General en el Proyecto Policlínico Universitario, en la Facultad de Medicina de Villa Clara, cursos 2007 a 2010. Se utilizaron métodos teóricos y empíricos. El universo estuvo constituido por los actores claves del proceso, quienes conformaron grupos focales en cada policlínico, y se les aplicó una encuesta al concluir ambos semestres. Se determinaron los principales logros, dificultades y una valoración general. Las dificultades se ubican según profesores, tutores y de infraestructura. Los actores opinan que la estrategia es excelente puesto que vincula la docencia con la asistencia médica en el municipio, y repercute en un mejor estado de salud de la población.


A qualitative research work was carried out, to value the satisfaction of the participants in the teaching-learning process of the formation of General Practitioners in the University polyclinic Project, in the Medicine Faculty of Villa Clara, from 2007 to 2010. Theoretical and empirical methods were used. The universe was composed by the principal participants of the process, who formed focal groups in each polyclinic; a survey was applied to them at the end of each term. There were determined the main achievements, difficulties and a general valuation. Difficulties in relation to professors, tutors and facilities are identified. This modality makes possible a better access to material aids, a more personalized attention to the students, and greater ties between theory and practice since the first years of the career, through the community doctor´s office, which is the training and working scenario of the future professional.

ABSTRACT

Con el objetivo de identificar los factores relacionados con la labor del tutor de trabajos de terminación de la especialidad Medicina General Integral (MGI) en el municipio Remedios durante el curso 2010-2011, se realizó una investigación con el universo: 18 tutores y 34 residentes de la mencionada especialidad .Se aplicaron métodos teóricos de análisis y síntesis para la revisión de documentos y la literatura científica, y métodos empíricos como la encuesta a tutores y residentes y se efectuó una entrevista a informantes clave. Se identifican dificultades relacionadas con la insuficiente preparación pedagógica y metodológica y otras vinculadas a la planificación del contenido de trabajo del tutor y la distribución de su fondo de tiempo laboral.


The objective of this work is to identify the factors that are related to the activity of the tutors of the final works in the Integral General Medicine Specialty, in Remedios municipality during the academic year 2010_2011. The universe of this research work is composed by 18 tutors and 34 residents of this specialty. Theoretical methods were used, for instance, analysis and synthesis for the review of documents and scientific literature, empirical methods were also used, for example, the interview and a survey was applied to the tutors and residents of this specialty. Difficulties were identified in relation to the insufficient methodological and pedagogical preparation as well as in the planning of the tutor´s work and in the distribution of their working hours.
